I cannot enter the numbers your software gives me into the phone, the phone will only let me enter notes, or letters. When I try to type the number 2 for example, my phone displays the letter C. Help!

Ignore what the phone displays while you press the keys, if you key the numbers into the phone in the sequence given your tone will work! 

The Ringtone converter does not need you to know anything about music, notes, octaves etc, it takes the tones in the RTTTL or Nokia Composer format and changes these to the key press sequences.

As an example, on some Motorola mobiles, if the tone you are entering needs a 'D' the converter will show 22, telling you to press the number 2 key twice to generate that note, so by just trying the numbers and ignoring the display everything should work for you.
